A treasure chest of wonders

The San Marco Museum is a work by Michelozzo commissioned by Cosimo dei Medici, home of Savonarola and today the largest collection in the world of works by Fra Angelico, who also lived here for a few years. We will visit the splendid architectural spaces of the convent and cells, the cloister of Sant’Antonio, the Cenacolo del Ghirlandaio, the Refectory and Chapter hall, the Church and the Library. It will finally be possible to admire live the new Sala del Beato Angelico - formerly known as the Hospice Hall - rearranged on the occasion of the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the Museum that began last year.
